The Pros Of BeWell Watches

After being in this market for so long, we have seen many different natural grain and solid wood watch companies come and go – but BeWell has been around since 2006 – ensuring they make solid product that people like. Overall the top features of this company:

  • Tons of choices & great selection of watches to match you personal style
  • Very affordable prices
  • Good quality

The Cons Of BeWell Watches

The downsides to BeWell are what you might expect from a wooden watch brand on the more affordable side of the wooden watch price scale. Considering their watches tend to range from about $30 – $150 (compared to other companies like Original Grain (read our complete Original Grain Review) or Holzkern (read our Holzkern buyer review) that tend to be $200 a watch plus). The Downsides of BeWell:

  • The BeWell watch quality and choice of materials are solid – but not the highest quality.
  • Their customer service is at times a little slow to respond and not always the most helpful.

If you are looking for a great looking and good quality watch made from wood for yourself or a gift – and would like to spend less than $100 BeWell is absolutely a top watch brand to consider.

About 60% of the styles Bewell creates are watches designed for men. In general their men’s watches feature larger sizes (usually about 40mm-48mm faces), longer and wider watch bands and more masculine styles using darker colors and more metal / steel cases. Additionally, their men’s watches tend to be a bit heavier.

Popular styles of wood used for their man’s watches included: Zebrawood, ebony wood, redwood, rosewood, bamboo, maple & green wood.

Bewell Watches For Women

Bewell manufactures a few dozen styles of wooden watches for women and we have been seeing their popularity grow. In general, the women’s watches follow the same manufacturing process as the men’s BeWells, but feature smaller styles and more delicate and feminine watch designs.

The primarily feature smaller watch faces (usually around 25mm to 35mm) and shorter and narrower watch bands so that they fit the smaller wrists of women more comfortably.

The women’s watches often feature lighter wood colors like maple, rosewood and use less steel than the men’s.
